La Co(o)rniche

At the foot of the tallest sand dune in Europe, where pine forest meets the Atlantic, La Co(o)rniche is a Philippe Starck-redesigned hotel that somehow manages to feel both hunting lodge and fever dream. Dark wood and period furniture hold the original Basque bones; everything else tilts Starck, with glass sculptures, collage walls, and whimsical cabin rooms connected by sandy paths. It holds a Michelin Key.
