Hirsch
Baden German
A warm-toned dining room with plenty of wood and a terrace that goes green in summer, Hirsch is a proper sit-down restaurant rooted in Baden cooking, the kind that keeps braised veal cheeks on the menu without apology. The kitchen leans on regional ingredients and classic technique, and the service is friendly without any performance about it. Strasbourg is just across the Rhine, so the guestrooms get their share of use too.
