    The reds, golds, and oranges hit you before the postmodernist furniture does, which is saying something. HOLM is a luxury boutique hotel in St Julian's, a short walk from Valletta's chaos and ten minutes from the airport, with a spa menu that runs from saunas and steam rooms to a Himalayan salt room and ice cabin. Some suites come with terrace jacuzzis. No restaurant, but the waterfront historic district is right outside the door.
