Rental Vespas parked out front set the tone for this budget design hotel steps from the Graz train station. Berlin's Studio Aisslinger fitted it out in cheerfully utopian style, and the compact rooms come with balconies, half of them painted in Easter-egg colors. A 24-hour espresso and tapas bar keeps things civilized at any hour. The Kunsthaus and the old town are a short walk away, which is fortunate because the Vespas only go so far.
