    A timber-fronted estate hotel in the Sauerland hills, where the town itself is famous for air so clean it borders on smug. The spa is expansive, the gardens are plentiful, and the hotel runs both a golf course café and a forest hut with local pilsner on tap, so there's always somewhere to land after a walk. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
