The 49 rooms here are spread across several buildings, some mock-Tudor, some Gothic revival, none of them matching, which is either chaotic or perfect for Brighton and probably both. This boutique hotel sits close enough to the seafront to smell it, and the rooms lean into the city's ramshackle spirit rather than fighting it. The top suite puts twin freestanding tubs in the middle of the bedroom, which says everything about the tone. The Bistro du Vin handles dinner.
