The triangular Haussmann-era building on Boulevard Malesherbes looks like it's been there forever, and it has, but the inside is almost entirely remade. This 8th arrondissement hotel pairs walnut paneling and Art Deco furniture with tropical-print wallpaper and animal-print armchairs, which sounds chaotic and somehow isn't. Bathrooms come in olive-green or chocolate-brown tile with Diptyque products. A wine bar keeps things lively, and the Champs-Élysées is a short walk.
