    Perched above Dukezong Ancient Town, this Hotel Indigo comes with an oxygen-generating system, which sounds like a luxury perk until you check the altitude and realize it's just good planning. Rooms have wood paneling and carved headboards drawn from local Tibetan architecture, with wide windows aimed at the mountains. The all-day restaurant, Bonfire, serves regional specialties with the landscape as its backdrop.
