Six stone-and-timber structures and one salvaged Tibetan house, reassembled around open-air walkways in a formerly abandoned corner of Dukezong Ancient Town, make up this boutique hotel. Guest rooms face the surrounding ridgeline, a converted woodshed holds a circular stone soaking tub, and the resident husky, Xiao Ha, tends to appear at breakfast without being invited. The name nods to a Tang dynasty poem about a traveler hunting for a reclusive monk near a mountain stream.
