Ich weiß ein Haus am See
Classic French
A wood-burning stove anchors the dining room of this small lakeside hotel restaurant somewhere between Berlin and Rostock, down a lane called Paradiesweg, which does rather promise a lot. The chef has held a Michelin star here for years, cooking a four-course menu that changes nightly around whatever the season offers. The owner knows wine the way some people know train schedules, and the lake views outside do the rest of the work.
