A restaurant inside the Salcheto Organic Winery, set in a farmhouse that has been quietly watching the hills around Montepulciano for centuries. The cooking is home-style Tuscan, grounded in the estate's own produce and small local suppliers, and guests sit at long shared Amiata oak tables that make the whole thing feel like a very civilized harvest lunch. In summer the outdoor tables open up, which makes the wine list feel less like an upsell and more like an obvious fact.
