Inseme
Breton Mediterranean
A former crêperie in a village south of Lannion, now something considerably more interesting. The team behind Inseme, the name meaning "together" in Corsican, pairs Breton produce with a Mediterranean sensibility, so spider crab turns up in house-made pasta and pollack keeps company with fregola sarda. Exposed stonework and wooden furniture set a warm, unfussy tone that matches the cooking. A neighborhood restaurant well outside any neighborhood you'd normally find yourself in.
