Ana Roš holds three Michelin stars at her Ljubljana flagship, and this is decidedly not that, which is rather the point. The all-day restaurant along Poreč's seafront promenade runs breakfast through dinner on a Mediterranean line built around local fishermen's catch, with Italian and French references folded in casually. In summer the terrace fills with the kind of easy confidence that comes from knowing exactly what you are, and what you are is a very good lunch on the Adriatic.
