Eleven rooms behind a blue-shuttered facade on the edge of Lake Annecy, with balconies angled to catch both the sun and the view. The chalet-style interiors run to warm wood paneling and neutral tones, which reads more refined than rustic. Outside there's a Norwegian bath, a sauna, and sun loungers right at the water's edge. Most guests, if we're being honest, are here because the two-Michelin-star restaurant is a short walk away.
