A Michelin-starred dining room inside a 17th-century mansion where, the story goes, Gounod first played excerpts from his opera Mireille to the poet who inspired it. The chef runs a modern Provençal kitchen, drawing from the region's farms and waters, and serves the tasting menu at a communal table d'hôtes against bare stone walls. The rooftop terrace loosens the mood considerably. Both rooms share a postcard address in Saint-Rémy.
