Tucked into the Victorian ironwork of Great Western Arcade, Land is a small, intimate vegetarian restaurant running a set menu that's almost entirely vegan. Pan-Asian touches show up throughout, carrot char siu sitting alongside sake lees and other quietly surprising moves. The menu shifts with the seasons, and the cooking has a genuinely inventive streak that doesn't feel like it's trying to win you over. Wine flights are available, and the service is warm without hovering.
