    The old carriage house of a country estate, with forest views through tall windows and tables set as if someone expected royalty. This is a proper French restaurant, the kind where beef wellington arrives without irony and the wine list has been thought about. The mood is unhurried and a little formal, which suits the surroundings. You dress up slightly, you linger, and the trees outside do most of the decorating.
