Le Petit Basson

Strings of garlic and dried flowers hang on the walls, and the chef grows many of the vegetables himself. This garden bistro in Troyes runs on a Modern French sensibility with a Breton accent, since the kitchen leans heavily on fish from that region alongside whatever's coming out of the garden. Lunch is the relaxed, affordable entry point; evenings shift toward more involved plates. The Michelin Guide has it on their list.
