Les Garennes

Wrought-iron curlicues, ornate molding, and chandeliers set the register here: Les Garennes is a château hotel on the east bank of the Odet in Brittany, just north of Bénodet. Period details fill the rooms alongside parquet floors and oversize windows, and the grounds run to parkland, gardens, and a pool. A spa with hammam, hot tub, and sauna rounds it out, which means there's no particular reason to leave.
