Les Nymphéas
Modern French
A stone manor on a hillside above the Rhône, named for the waterlilies floating on the pond outside. The restaurant inside is a relaxed modern dining room with pale parquet and old timber rafters overhead, where the kitchen turns out the kind of careful, produce-led cooking that earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The sauces in particular get serious attention. Dress neatly but not formally; this is countryside France, not a tasting-menu occasion.
