  1. A restored barn on the edge of Lourdes, hung with garlic braids, chilli bunches, and saucepans, with an open kitchen at its heart. This is a table d'hôtes with a single weekly set menu built around the kitchen garden and whatever local producers have on hand. The chef cooks at his own pace and on his own terms, which in practice means deeply personal, rustic food with the kind of long-cooked jus that makes you reconsider every shortcut you've ever taken.

    Two honors, in evidence:

    The record strongest first

One number, weighted & current 84

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
