  1. LI~LY by Aiden Byrne

    Modern British

A black-and-white timbered building in the middle of Knutsford hides a surprisingly bright, contemporary dining room inside. Aiden Byrne runs a tasting menu restaurant here, with the kind of precisely assembled plates that make you feel someone really thought about them. Byrne has a habit of delivering dishes himself, and his enthusiasm for what he's put in front of you comes across as completely unperformed.

    One honor, in evidence:

    The record strongest first

One number, weighted & current 69

    The dishes from the writeups

Tasting menu only. The dishes change too often to put on record.

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
