A stone restaurant in the Mâconnais, with vineyards rolling out toward the Roche de Solutré on every side, which makes the wine list feel less like a list and more like a view. The chef cooked in Tokyo and came back with a Japanese reverence for ingredients that now shapes his modern French menu, which follows the market closely. A Michelin star. The adjoining bistro serves heartier food if the mood calls for it.
