L'Oustalet Maïanen
Provençal French
Blown-glass panels of Léo Lelée's painted Arlésiennes are set into chandeliers made by a Murano glass artist, which gives this Provençal restaurant a quietly spectacular dining room even before the food arrives. The chef pulls produce from the Alpilles and Camargue, and the cooking lands somewhere between rustic and considered. Maillane was Frédéric Mistral's hometown, and the place leans into that cultural pride without making it a museum piece.
