The honey-colored stone walls belong to an old farmhouse, but the interior runs to antique-furnished rooms with arched doorways, hardwood floors, and deep-soak tubs in black stone bathrooms. This is a Michelin two-key luxury hotel in the Costa Brava countryside, with bungalows in the grounds and garden suites with private terraces and pools. The restaurant draws its own crowd. An easy drive from Barcelona, and a plausible one from rather further away.
