A 13th-century limestone fortification wall runs straight through this boutique hotel in Tallinn's Old Town, and the original shooting apertures are still visible in the corridors. Rooms lean into pale oak and handmade wool rugs, with Estonian-made furnishings throughout. The attic rooms on the top floor are snug in a good way, and courtyard suites have soaking tubs and art-hung walls. A guest-only spa and a French-leaning restaurant round things out nicely.
