A cobblestoned street in Rueil-Malmaison is an unlikely setting for a Michelin-starred modern restaurant, but the chef trained under Robuchon and Alléno, so unlikely is kind of the point. Tasting menus lean heavily on vegetables, many grown locally or foraged by the chef himself from a nearby island. The lunchtime menu keeps prices earthbound. It's the sort of place that makes the suburbs feel like a reasonable argument.
