    The wooden revolving door and copper dome belong to a century-old bank building that now operates as a boutique hotel in Sirkeci, steps from the old city's layered chaos. The marble spiral staircase and original façade set the tone; Art Deco rooms and a Jazz Bar keep up the period mood, though you can also summon your butler over WhatsApp, which feels about right for Istanbul in general. The rooftop terrace view is the quiet closer.
