Merlin Labron-Johnson left London for a renovated Somerset pub, and the farm-to-table tasting menu restaurant that followed now holds a Michelin star and sits at number two on the National Restaurant Awards list. The menu shifts daily around whatever the surrounding land is doing, with wine poured from small biodynamic and organic producers. Four rooms named after local rivers mean you no longer have to rush the drive home.
