Osteria Acquarol
Alpine Italian
A one-Michelin-star osteria on a pedestrianized street in the South Tyrol, with a spare, almost bare interior and a few outdoor tables when the season allows. The kitchen gardens behind the restaurant drive the menus, and the Alpine herbs and vegetables grown there show up in modern tasting menus that read like a quiet argument for the region. Chef Alessandro Bellingeri is from Cremona, which makes his obvious devotion to Trentino all the more pointed.
