    Palaty is a Georgian restaurant in an old Imereti-style house near Kutaisi's white bridge, where the name means a house with a limestone ground floor. Downstairs is dim and romantic with live jazz, upstairs is bright and calm, and there's a flowered terrace and a small yard for anyone who can't decide. A wine bar and cooking classes round it out, and Gault&Millau gave it two toques.
