    Johnny Spero, who earned a Michelin star at his D.C. restaurant Reverie, traded the capital for Whidbey Island and opened this intimate seafood tasting menu spot on the water. The menu shifts constantly but keeps pulling from the cold Pacific just outside, and the New York Times named it to their 2026 Restaurant List. After dinner, whales occasionally cruise through Saratoga Passage, which is either a coincidence or very good branding.
