    Cristiano Ronaldo spent nine seasons at Real Madrid, and this hotel on the Gran Vía is essentially the monument to that run, with tributes to the sporting life woven into the graphics, art, and motivational mottos on every floor. It's a modern design hotel inside a century-old building, with a gym elaborate enough to be called a Fitness Box, a rooftop bar with a 360-degree view of the city, and a pizzeria from one of the founders of Roberta's in Brooklyn, if you needed a reason to stay in.
