    A former 17th-century parish house just outside Salzburg, sitting quietly in the village of Hallwang with a terrace to match the setting. This is a Michelin-starred fine dining destination built around long tasting menus, seasonal market produce, and Austrian wines, including from a vineyard the team tends themselves. The cooking is creative and precise, the welcome genuinely warm, and the whole thing runs with the ease of somewhere that has figured out exactly what it wants to be.
