A table-bar just inside the entrance sets the tone: mocktails and appetizers prepared in front of you before the main event begins. This is Anne-Sophie Pic's two-Michelin-starred fine dining room in Lausanne, perched above the lake after a full renovation, with leather interiors and a kitchen that leans heavily on garden produce and a strong regional accent. The evening runs to seven or eight courses, lunch to four or five.
