The open kitchen faces the main dining room, and in summer the terrace fills up fast enough to suggest everyone in Lichtervelde had the same idea. This is a seasonal, farm-to-table restaurant where the chef pulls from Belgian comfort classics, crispy shrimp fritters and North Sea fish, while drifting toward ponzu and ceviche without making a fuss about it. The food runs sharp and bright, and nothing on the plate is there to impress itself.
