The green azulejos and thick esparto blinds give Polea's facade an arresting look before you're even inside. This contemporary restaurant runs a single tasting menu built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, with nods to Scandinavian technique and, occasionally, the kitchen's own garden. Sustainably caught fish only. The partially open kitchen and small bar keep things intimate, and a couple runs the whole operation with the kind of calm focus that takes years abroad to develop.
