A garden terrace beside the Museu Romântico, with the Douro spread out below, sets the tone before you've seen a menu. Antiqvvm is a two-Michelin-star creative tasting-menu restaurant where the chef, Vítor Matos, builds dishes that look composed and quiet and turn out to be anything but. Two menus run: a vegetarian option and a longer seafood-forward journey, both beginning with snacks prepared at a live station in the room.
