    Rosewood San Miguel de Allende holds a Forbes Five Star and looks like it has always belonged to the city's UNESCO-listed colonial centro, which is either a feat of restraint or a very long con. The rooms lean hard into 19th-century aesthetics while quietly hiding deep soaking tubs and fireplaces, and the rooftop bar trades the best views in town for a tequila. Three pools, a spa, and weekend crowds who dressed for exactly this.
