A boutique hotel on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya, close enough to Wat Arun that the spire fills your window without any effort on your part. Rooms are kept deliberately spare in black and white, which makes sense once you see what the river views are doing. The rooftop bar earns its following, and the exposed-brick restaurant downstairs does traditional Thai alongside Italian, a pairing that sounds odd until you're already eating.
