    A three-century-old coaching inn on the old Delft-to-Hague road, now hemmed in by glass tech offices but still arriving like a gentle ambush of calm. Inside, the heritage bones have been kept and the rest thoroughly reinvented: minimalist interiors, design furniture, saturated color. Only 35 rooms, a full spa with pool and saunas, and a Parisian bistro on site. The Michelin Guide has it in its selected hotels.
