The Art Nouveau bones of this old Stuttgart neighbourhood restaurant have been carefully restored, and the room feels genuinely lived-in rather than preserved under glass. It runs a five-to-seven course set menu, vegetarian version included, with a wine list put together by someone who thought about it. In summer, a quiet shaded courtyard terrace opens out back, which is the kind of thing you only find out about if someone tells you.
