A converted watermill on the River Wensum, this is a dining pub with rooms and a riverside terrace that looks plucked from a Norfolk tourism calendar, which is not a complaint. The menu runs Modern British without straining for novelty, letting straightforward, well-seasoned food do the work. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Bib Gourmand. Come with someone worth sharing a pot pie with.
