    A rooftop pool looking out over the Shenzhen skyline at night is the thing people remember first. This full-service hotel in Nanshan goes for the gold, marble, and freestanding-tub aesthetic throughout, and mostly pulls it off. What actually sets it apart is the rare coexistence of a kids' club and a quiet reading lounge, a combination that suggests someone thought carefully about who travels together. He Xiangning Art Museum and Happy Valley are both a short drive away.
