    The French accent is the whole point here: Sofitel positions itself in a luxury market full of lookalike brands by leaning hard into its Frenchness, and this Kuala Lumpur outpost obliges with Art Deco nods, ornate mirror frames, and marble bathrooms dark enough to feel theatrical. The hotel rises in green glass above Damansara Heights, with pan-Asian, Cantonese, and Mediterranean restaurants on site when you'd rather not venture out.
