    The patio at Solbar sits inside the Solage resort, and on a warm Calistoga afternoon it makes a strong case for never leaving wine country. This is a hotel restaurant that leans into its setting: farm-sourced Californian cooking, servers who read the table well, and a pace that matches the spa crowd next door. The food is lighter and more precise than the surroundings suggest you'd need it to be, which is quietly the point.
