1. Soneva Jani

    Soneva Jani is an overwater villa resort in the Maldives where the whole point is to never leave, and you genuinely won't want to. Most villas sit right on the turquoise lagoon in the Noonu Atoll, private enough that you forget other people exist. There are over ten restaurants and bars, spa pavilions hovering above the water and the treetops, and movie screenings over the lagoon for the crowd who finds regular cinemas too ordinary.
