Instead of a printed menu, Stefan Haas hands you small illustrated cards describing the dishes, and you build the meal from there. It's a fine dining room in the Austrian countryside, minimalist and intentionally intimate, with only a handful of tables and an open kitchen where the chef works through whatever the season is offering. His partner runs the floor and the wine program, which keeps the whole thing feeling less like a restaurant and more like dinner at someone's very talented house.
