    A former bank building at the top of St. George's Mall, the Taj holds onto its classical facade while a tower addition stacks several more floors of rooms behind it. Heritage rooms lean traditional; Tower and Club rooms run a little more contemporary. The Jiva Spa covers hammams, vitality pools, and a heated indoor pool, and the Bombay Brasserie and a champagne-and-oyster bar keep you from having to think too hard about dinner.
