The open kitchen fills most of the back wall, and the noise it generates is half the reason to come. This cosy Italian restaurant on Overtoom pulls off house-made pasta and a tiramisu that tastes like the platonic version, while quietly folding in Dutch cheese or katsuobushi for a little mischief. The service team has the warmth of a place that doesn't need to try very hard, because it hasn't had to for a long time.
